About
Yorick's dead. Theatre Isn't.
Local theatre feels like it’s dying. It’s too small. Like, tiny small. And it shouldn’t be that way.
The people who are in it, are in it. The people who aren’t... well, they probably never even see the door.
Yorick.live is on a crusade to cure this disease of not knowing, and to bring a new wave of audiences to the arts. I’ll need you to agree, or get off this website. It’s in the terms and conditions I think.
Why this exists
To share works-in-progress, celebrate collaborators, and make it easy for audiences to find what's on stage. You'll see rehearsal photos, dramaturgy notes, and the occasional late-night tech diary.
What you'll find
- Show listings with dates, venues, and visuals.
- Process notes: blocking sketches, sound cues, design drafts.
- Writing on theatre, storytelling, and collaboration.
- Links to past work, press, and upcoming events.
